What are the symptoms of UTI?

I'm not sure if I have a urinary tract infection. Ive been drinking a lot of water lately so I can stay hydrated (it's hot here in Northern California!) and I for the longest time every night get up 8-12 times to pee with the feeling of having to pee and only a little bit comes out each time. Its frustrating but now it's getting worse I pee during the day a lot and my fiance has noticed that i'm peeing a lot more then normal.
