Is the "You Play We Play" lottery syndicate scheme a scam?

I am interested in joining a lottery syndicate scheme and I have looked at the "You Play We Play" scheme. However, I have my concerns as they only charge a few pence per game and it's not clear (from their website) how the company makes money from the scheme? Has anyone heard of You Play We Play? and is it a pyramid scheme?
