Any bands like sonic syndicate, all that remains or as i lay dying?

Sam's list is pretty legit. But a friend of mine who's obsessed with All That Remains and As I Lay Dying recently started obsessing over Trivium and Shadows Fall. I personally don't like them, but you might want to give it a shot.
