My mom doesn't think its a urinary tract infection, but what else could it be?

It feels like I'm dehydrated, but I'm drinking bottles of water and it doesn't help at all. its been progressively getting worse as the day goes on and its really uncomfortable. My mom says that you get sharp shooting pains when you pee, which I don't, but I've felt like I had to go twice within the last 1/2 hr. it kind of feels like a constant burn, but it doesn't change when I pee it just feels the same. should I go to a walk in clinic? My mom said it could be because of all the medicine I was taking for a cold but I haven't taken anything since this morning. and Its not an STD because I've never had sex so what does it sound like to you?
